Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with a workspace, what happens if you do it, and how to report someone who has.

Last updated 9 September 2026

OFIVIO (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED · Lahore, Pakistan

On this page

  1. 1. What this covers
  2. 2. What you may not do
  3. 3. Automation and fair use
  4. 4. What happens if this is broken
  5. 5. Reporting a breach

1. What this covers

This document is a draft under review. It is published so customers can see the position we are working to, and it is being reviewed by our advisers before it becomes final. Where it conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms govern.

This policy applies to everyone who uses Ofivio — the account owner, every person they invite, and any client given access to a portal. Breaking it is a breach of the Terms of Service.

2. What you may not do

  • Break the law, or use Ofivio to help someone else break it.
  • Upload or store material you have no right to — including drawings, documents or photographs belonging to another firm.
  • Attempt to reach another customer's workspace, or any data that is not yours. Every workspace is isolated; testing that boundary without written permission is not research, it is intrusion.
  • Probe, scan or load-test the service without our written consent. If you want to test it, read the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy first — it tells you how to do it with our permission.
  • Resell, sublicense or run a competing service on top of your subscription.
  • Share one seat between people. A seat is a person, not a login.
  • Use the AI officer to generate unlawful, deceptive or harassing material, or to impersonate a person or an organisation.
  • Send bulk unsolicited messages from the workspace, or use it to distribute malware.

3. Automation and fair use

Automated access is fine where we provide it. What is not fine is traffic that degrades the service for other customers — scripted loops against the API, scraping the interface, or running the AI officer continuously to consume another workspace's capacity.

The AI budget is a daily token allowance per seat. Running it out pauses the officer until the reset. It does not bill you extra, and we do not charge overage.

4. What happens if this is broken

Proportion first. In most cases we will tell you what we have seen and ask you to stop. Where the breach is serious — unlawful material, an attempt on another customer's data, or conduct putting the service at risk — we may suspend access immediately and tell you afterwards.

Suspension for a breach of this policy is not a billing suspension and does not change what you have already paid. Section 9 of the Terms governs termination.

5. Reporting a breach

Write to contact@ofivio.com with what you saw and where. If it concerns copyright, use the Copyright and Takedown Policy instead — it asks for the specific things the law requires.

Get the practice letter.
One email a month on running a practice — stage gates, BOQs, cash and the odd VO release note. No drip campaigns.
Ofivio

Ofivio is a family of trade-specific business systems — for architects, builders, engineers, property owners, shops and back offices — that share one account, one set of data and one AI officer.
