Ofivio Business, explained: project management that shapes itself to what you do
Ofivio Business starts blank on purpose. It asks what your business does, tailors the workspace to the answer, and gives you Project Management, Manager, HR and Finance. Here is what is inside, what it costs, and what it does not do.
Ofivio Business is project management for every business outside architecture, engineering and construction. It is built to be 110% customisable, and nothing in it is preset. When you choose it, Ofivio asks what your business does and tailors the workspace to the answer: the stages your work moves through, the job titles your people hold, the words on the screen. Then you choose a plan.

Who it is for
- Consultancies, agencies and advisory firms that sell a fee and have to deliver it.
- Service businesses that run their work as projects, with people, dates and money attached.
- Sales-led firms that want leads, deals and quotations beside the delivery, with the Business Development module.
- Businesses that buy, store and issue stock, with the Inventory Management module.
- Anyone who has outgrown a task board and a spreadsheet, and does not design, engineer or build.
If you are an architect, an engineer or a contractor, Ofivio AEC arrives preset for that work and is the better choice on day one.
Why a general product sits beside AEC
Ofivio Business stays because of what Ofivio learns in AEC. Design and construction are some of the hardest project work there is: stages with money attached, approvals that have to be on the record, people costed against a fee. What is built for that work carries over into general project management. The engine is the same; Ofivio Business simply starts blank.
The four departments
| Department | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Project Management | Your projects, shaped to what you do: the stages, the job titles and the vocabulary are yours to set. |
| Manager | Projects, tasks, approvals, milestones, workload and delivery tracking. |
| HR | Employees, departments, teams, tasking, attendance and leave. |
| Finance | Invoices, expenses, budgets, wallets, milestone cash, receivables. |
Built in, on every plan
- Company Email — Your company mailboxes inside Ofivio.
- OfiCalendar — One calendar for the whole company.
- OfiDrive — The subscription's storage: manage and measure what is used.
- OfiRoom — Meeting rooms for the team and its clients.
- VO Chat — Text VO, free on every plan.
- Oficiate — Everyday work automated with triggers.
Modules for the rest of the business
Modules are bought inside Ofivio from OfiMart, at $15 a month each on top of the plan, and add their departments to the workspace you already have.
| Module | Departments it brings | Add it when | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Build | Site + Operations | Work happens on sites and needs a daily record | $15 a month |
| Inventory Management | Procurement + Warehouse | Stock is bought, stored and issued: purchase orders, suppliers, stock in and out, valuation | $15 a month |
| Planning & QS | Planning & QS | Work is priced from quantities and rates | $15 a month |
| Accountant | Chart of accounts + Vouchers | The books should be double entry, inside the workspace | $15 a month |
| Business Development | Sales + Marketing | Finding work is a job in itself: leads come in through Marketing and close in Sales | $15 a month |
| Estate | Estate | Mega-project inventory, once it is built | Not available yet |
Business Development brings two departments. Sales holds leads, a deal pipeline, quotations, and won deals that become clients. Marketing holds campaigns, a content calendar, and publishing to your own Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, X and LinkedIn accounts. Bids and tenders, with their deadlines and win rate, sit on Sales' own shelves.

|---|---|---|---|
| VO Chat | Text VO on every plan. Ask anything, read anything you are allowed to see. | Free | Every plan |

VO Chat answers in text on every plan. VO Voice speaks Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, English, Spanish and French, and ARKA carries out work by voice and text, with 500 credits a month and the Brass Room. Conversation spends no credits. Work that ARKA carries out does: 25 credits for a minute of voice, 60 for a drafted document, 120 for an agent job and 500 for a watcher standing for a month. Extra credits come in one-off packs, never a subscription.
What Ofivio Business does not do
- No sprints, issues or releases. A software team is a different shape, and a dedicated tool serves it better.
- No critical-path scheduling with resource levelling.
- No point-of-sale counter. OfiPOS is one of the Ofiverse Products, separate from Ofivio.
- No marketing automation suite. Marketing runs campaigns, a content calendar and publishing to your own accounts, not drip sequences.
- No minute-by-minute time tracking for hourly billing.

ComparisonsExcel vs project management software — an honest accounting from people who love Excel
Excel is the most successful project management software ever shipped, and mocking it is how vendors lose rooms. The real question is narrower: which of its jobs has your firm outgrown?
ComparisonsOfivio vs Odoo, ClickUp, monday.com, Asana and Monograph
Five well-built platforms, one honest question: what are you actually trying to run? A business suite, a work operating system and a project manager are three different products, and none of them is built around the way a bill of quantities becomes a purchase order, a delivery, a site record and a cost. Scores, a full capability matrix, and the rows where the other tools win.
