Ofivio is a tool. It organises your work, does arithmetic on it and produces documents from it. It is built carefully and we use it ourselves, and it is still a tool — the judgement about whether an output is right, and whether to act on it, stays with you.

This page sets out where that line falls. It sits alongside the Terms of Service, which contain the warranties and liability limits themselves.

Nothing produced by Ofivio is professional advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship between you and us. In particular, the Services do not provide:

• Legal advice. Agreements, letters, notices and contract templates are starting points drafted generically. They are not tailored to your circumstances or to the law of your jurisdiction. Have a lawyer review anything that binds you.
• Accounting, tax or audit advice. The ledger, vouchers, trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet are bookkeeping tools. They do not constitute audited accounts, a tax filing, or an opinion on your financial position.
• Financial or investment advice. Budgets, profitability reports, valuations and rent rolls are calculations on the figures you entered.
• Engineering, architectural or surveying certification. Bills of quantities, rate build-ups, measurements, drawing registers and site records are working documents. They are not a certified quantity survey, a structural check, or sign-off of any kind, and they do not replace a qualified professional's stamp.
• HR or employment-law advice. Payroll, leave, attendance and deduction calculations follow the rules you configured. Whether those rules match your obligations as an employer is for you and your advisers to determine.

Almost everything Ofivio shows you is computed from data you or your colleagues entered: quantities, rates, salaries, dates, percentages, opening balances, configuration. The software will faithfully carry a wrong rate through to a wrong total.

Before anything leaves your hands — a tender, an invoice, a valuation, a payroll run, a statement to a client or a bank — open it and check it. This is ordinary professional practice and no software changes it.

Keep your own copies of what you cannot afford to lose. Ofivio is a system of record for your business; it is not a substitute for your own backups.

VO is a language model assistant. It reads what your role permits and answers, drafts and — at the highest tier — acts on your instruction.

Language models can be confidently wrong. VO can misread a record, miscount, fill a gap with something plausible, or summarise away the exception that mattered. It is useful precisely because it is fast, and speed is not accuracy.

• Treat a VO answer as a draft or a lead, never as a verified fact. Check it against the underlying record — which is in the system, one click away, and is the authority.
• An action VO takes on your instruction is your action, taken with your permissions. Review what you authorise.
• VO is not a lawyer, an accountant, an engineer or an HR adviser, and asking it a question in one of those areas does not make its answer advice.
• Availability and quality depend on third-party model providers and can change without notice.

We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of AI output. How VO processes your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Ofivio ships template bills of quantities, document templates, chart-of-accounts structures and similar reference material to save you starting from nothing. They are generic conveniences, not a standard, and they are not tied to any particular code, specification or statutory schedule. Check them against whatever governs your project before you rely on one, and edit them to fit — that is what they are for.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and the Terms include no service level agreement with automatic credits. See Terms, section 12.

Prices, feature lists and product descriptions on our public pages are maintained carefully but may contain errors or lag a change. The pricing page is the definitive statement of what costs what; where any other page disagrees with it, the pricing page is correct. Prices displayed in a local currency are converted at a fixed rate we publish for convenience — the amount owed is the US dollar figure.

Our sites and the application link to services we do not control, including our own providers' documentation. We do not endorse them and accept no responsibility for their content, their availability, or your dealings with them.
